A preparar o Carnaval

Vou ser sincera ao dizer que o Carnaval nunca foi muito a minha onda, mas desde que tive os meus pequenos passou a fazer parte da agenda o decidir a máscara, se comprar ou fazer ou ver junto de família ou amigos onde arranjar.

Nos últimos anos já tivemos máscaras feitas por mim (ver aqui), compradas (ver aqui) ou vindas de algum primo ou prima a quem já não serviam (ver aqui e aqui).

Embora já não me tenha de preocupar com o mais crescido, uma vez que já é ele que trata da máscara dele, só precisando de ajuda de vez em quando, a da mais pequena continua a passar por mim.

Se nos últimos anos era até há última para escolher, este ano não houve qualquer dúvida e sim por aqui também se vive a febre do Frozen e claro está a mais pequena quer, assim como não sei quantas outras miúdas neste e noutros países, ir claro está de Elsa.

Mas ela fez o pedido de que a mommy (euzinha aqui) o fizesse, vai dai que lá fui eu para a net em busca de inspiração e foi aqui que me inspirei para fazer o vestido dela:

Depois de escolhermos o modelo e os tecidos, foi pôr mãos à obra,

e este foi o resultado final.

Agora é só esperar que chegue o Carnaval.

I'll be honest by saying that Carnival was never really my thing, but since I had my little ones this became part of the agenda, deciding which mask, if bought or made by me or borrowed by family or friends .

In recent years we have had masks made by me (see here), bought (see here) or coming from a cousin to who no longer fit (see here and here).

Although I no longer have to worry about the older one, since its already he who makes his mask, only needing help from time to time, the smallest one continues need me.

In recent years the decision has been made until the last time, but this year there was no doubt because in here also lives the Frozen fever and of course the little one wants, like so many other little girls, to go has Elsa.

She requested mommy (myself here) to make the dress, so I went to search for inspiration online, and this is where I got the inspiration to make her dress:

After we choose the pattern and fabric, I started to work on the dress and this was the final result (see images above).
Now we only have to wait for Carnival.
